Psychamerica draws on several years experience running a youth counseling service in London back in the early 2000s to inform an understanding of the issues young people face today, as well as the dynamics of work with those of an age that face their own unique challenges.
Psychamerica acknowledges that differing generations face different challenges in lives that are rooted in varying historical contexts. Meaning across these contexts can seem almost incompatible, such that Psychamerica works to articulate the different meanings young people use to navigate their emerging experiences so that they may find their own unique pursuit of happiness.
