Working individually represents the template and mainstay of psychotherapy. Nonetheless, at Psychamerica we are mindful that work with each individual is unique.
We recognize that each person bears the potential to uncover what they have previously covered over, thus becoming freer to live with greater resilience, sense of purpose and the possibility of fulfilling enjoyment.
In the section Entering Analysis you can read an outline of a common trajectory of work to which many individual clients relate. Yet it is also important to bear in mind that there is no such thing as a typical analysis, and that individual counseling encompasses a wide variety of trajectories representing personal de-tours the aim of which is to free up a different destiny.
